Dancing is proven to be good for your brain, good for your body and good for your spirit! Move Free/Feel Free classes are designed  for movers of all ages and abilities, combining creative movement, social and folk dance forms with Alexander Technique principles of mind-body integration. Explore mindfulness in motion to improve balance and promote fluidity and strength. Have fun as you develop motor, cognitive and improvisation skills and enhance your ability to connect to others, music and your own physicality. Dancers of all abilities welcome, as are walkers, electric carts, aides, etc. Choreography will be adapted to suit all and can be be done seated, standing with assistance or moving through space as needed.


Reducing  strain helps us heal faster and avoid injury. By learning to move more efficiently and accurately, we reduce the risk of injury, increase our effectiveness and reduce pain or discomfort we may have previously thought was unavoidable. Alleviating unnecessary downward pressure keeps joints safer and  movement becomes easier and more fluid.
